  1. Great reminder. I’m one of Bush’s biggest critics (although I will always respect him for his signing the developing countries/free drugs/FDA priority mandate).

    But, as you say, while we may see his public side and the errors he made in key areas, he is a father (and possibly a great one). Good to keep these things in mind for everyone we may meet along the way.

  3. @Danny – Thanks for your thoughtful response. As soon as I saw this post I was a little concerned that the man would be vilified and not seen as a dad.

    We all are very imperfect in our lives but that doesn’t mean we can’t be good fathers.
