I truly recommend watching a movie called “MY DOG SKIP” which was based on a true story. It’s a wonderful coming of age movie featuring the cute little dog named Skip, of course. It’s full of funny little moments and captures the essence of youth, especially about the special relationship between the only child and his beloved pup. This sequence truly summarizes the whole story very well and totally moved me. Even though I didn’t grow up with a dog, I’ve made sure that all three of my kids are enjoying the experience of growing up with a dog of their own. I think this movie and this sequence had a lot to do with my decision. What a treat for the whole family.
One of the best lines is this one at the end
“Why in childhood and youth do we wish time to pass so quickly? We want to grow up so fast yet as adults we wish just the opposite.”
