Be very prould of the laughter of your boys, it seems as you are a good father.  I have a son and a daughter and I have some regrets as a mother, but I was always home when my kids arrived from school, and I was always there for them when they needed me.  I would do some things differently if I could go back, so do what you want now, time flys.

I am glad to see that you require your boys to say yes sir, no sir,, and yes ma’am, and no ma’am. That is something I implemented when my boys were 10, 12, and 14. I should have done it way sooner but better late than never. It was quite a battle at first because my boys did not want to cooperate. They finally realized I meant business and this requirement was not going to be optional. It took several weeks to get full compliance and now it has been 5 years since this became a family rule. I have no regrets. We get compliments from other parents and teachers all the time because my boys are so polite. I believe this will get them further in life as it did me.

  5. Yep, it sure is easier when you start them young! Thanks for commenting!
