Here’s another heartbreaking story about bullying that pushed another sweet soul to suicide. Bullies are terrorists of the spirit when children are at their most vulnerable. Too many people decide to remain silent which sadly makes them an accomplice in the terrorism they inflict on innocent victims. This goes to fellow students who look away and all the bus drivers, janitors, principals, teachers and other parents who shrug it off as something that kids need to go thru and work out themselves but that’s a sick and twisted mindset from a bygone era. We all need to help these kids. It all starts in the home. Most parents of bullies live in denial when it comes to the harm and damage their children do. I’ve seen it myself. In many cases they’ve created the monster. No one wants to admit this painful reality but they can help change things by accepting the truth and doing something about it…if not for their child but for all those others out there suffering. Please say something whenever you see bullying… stop being afraid of getting involved or being criticized by other parents. Your silence is deadly.
