  1. Jason,
Great examples of God’s “goofy” side. I think God’s also got a finely tuned sense of irony and humor. The most recent example being the statue of “touchdown Jesus” destroyed by a lightning strike (never mind that the thing was basically constructed as a giant lightning rod covered with flammable material).

    Thanks and happy Father’s Day!

  3. Highly entertaining, Jason. A temporary cure for Adultitis. I do like the idea of God’s goofy side.

  5. @Mitch: Yes, that lightning strike story makes me think that he doesn’t take himself too seriously 🙂

@Joe: Thanks! I think his goofy side is severely underreported.

  7. Jason –

Awesome post – I think you are right on. Its crazy how it seems God smiles when coincidences happen in my life. My wife and I sometimes look at each other and shake our heads like…’Wow, God is totally showing off right now’!

  9. Yes, Stu — I love it when God shows off. Great entertainment and a foolproof way for keeping things in perspective, no?
