  1. Didn’t like the inability to select what we wanted to watch.

  3. Couple things. First, I’m using it in Firefox and it seems really…oh what’s the word…broken?

Not all the time. A couple times it didn’t load a video. If you click on the video (because even my four year old can use a mouse) the space bar trick doesn’t work any more. If you click back out it loads a blank window.

Finally, if you click on the YouTube logo, it takes you to YouTube and we’re back where we started with stuff you may not want them to see.

I think they need to do a lot with the interface. YouTube does tagging, perhaps they should pull the tags and offer some choices for the kids to watch (clips of Oobi, clips of Dora, etc.) and then a nice big couple buttons to rewind or go to the next clip. It’s a good idea, but needs to execution help.

  5. Thanks for the comments guys.

@Joe: I don’t mind the randomness of it, as long as the content is safe.
@Xadrian: Wow, you make some great points on the UI. I didn’t realize it takes you right to YouTube, that’s a definite no, no. Thanks for your points.

    Cheers
