I have a tee that used to be pretty. It was given to me for mother’s day once, a long, long tiime ago. It is faded and has a couple bleach spots on it, but you can still see the trellis & roses and feel the love from the time it was given. It is comfy, too, but mostly I just love it. I don’t wear it in public anymore, so I ‘spose new ones would be nice, but I will likely keep it too.

My favorite hoodie is black with Bam Margera’s logo on it. I’m a 27 year old mom, but still a punk skater girl at heart so when I wear it I may get the odd look or two, but it’s ok.

One of my favorite shirts is actually a fairly new acquisition, I received it last year as a gift from the High School volley ball team I coach.
Whenever I am telling the girls their positions on the court at the start of the games I hold up the lineup to my belly and say “here is the line up, I am the net”. I guess I say it every single time, even though they know I am the net.
Near the end of last season at a tournament they presented me with a simple grey shirt. When I unfolded the shirt, written in huge letters in black marker were the words “I am the net” and it was signed by everyone on the team.
The shirt means a lot to me. It shows me that they were always paying attention, that I meant something to them, and that my volunteer time was appreciated. The fact that it is unique to our relationship together instead of something just purchased makes it all the more important.
